Lotus Flower Tattoo

As the lotus flower is indeed a fascinating miracle of nature; it is a growing trend for people and woman in particular to have a lotus flower tattoo applied to their bodies. The lotus is an amazing flower. It grows in muddy lakes and each night as the sun sets, it sinks below the surface of its waters.

Then, the next day when the sun begins to rise, this flower will resurface to spend the day out in the sun. It will continue this daily cycle for it entire life span. Because of this amazing quality; it is a wonderful symbol to have as a tattoo. Tattoos for woman have lost its past stereotype and is quite common these days.

Even a few years ago, women were taught to feel that any tattoo they got should be put only on certain areas of her body and that has changed also. The most popular are for a female to have a tattoo is on her lower back, hip, pelvic bone area, shoulder or ankle. As society grows and changes, so does the perception of many things, including tattoos.

A woman can now feel free to have a tattoo on any area of her body as she wishes. There are a couple exceptions of course, as many states that allow tattooing have laws that prevent anyone from receiving a tattoo on their face or on their hand; some states require a tattoo can go no lower than a person’s wrist and can not enter the back of the hand or the palm.
