Wild Flowers
Flower enthusiasts will most often be delighted when it comes to wild flowers. This type of flower does not just appear in nature to delight everyone with their beauty, a gardener may also choose to grow wild flowers in their garden.
One of the most popular and well known wild flowers is the daisies. The daisy flower is originally from South Africa and was then brought to the United States and other countries. The blooms of this wild flower are truly beautiful and range from two to four inches.
Daisies come in wonderful shades of yellow, white or orange. This flower is easy to plant in early spring in most areas and the blooms will last for weeks, if not months. An enthusiasts garden need not stop there, the list of wild flowers that can be grown at a home garden are almost endless.
Some of these flowers are: the blanket flower, California bluebell, chicory, cosmos, dense blazing star, evening primrose, Johnny-jump-up, five spot, golden yarrow, Mexican hat, moss verbena and the New England Aster.
No matter which flowers one chooses to grow, any wild flower is sure to be a delight. Once the flowers are in full bloom, a person can cut them and then use them for fresh flower arrangements, to put in vases and to give as gifts to friends and family.
